This distinguished gentleman is PJ! He is a 14 year old Bichon-Poo who came to rescue as an owner surrender from his local shelter in VA. When he came to his foster home, PJ was very shy and did not like interacting with people or dogs very much. It seems he had not had a lot of attention in his home in the last little while, and he had forgotten what it was like to have a loving family. Slowly, PJ began to come out of his shell and was especially animated at mealtimes - it is still his favorite time of the day! After 2 months in foster care, a good grooming, and a dental where he lost a LOT of teeth, he is feeling shiny and happy and ready to find his new happily ever after.

PJ is neutered, current on vaccines, microchipped, and house- and crate-trained. PJ does not mind other dogs - he could be happy with doggy companions or as an only dog. He does not like loud voices or loud noises. His vision is a little impaired due to his age, but his hearing is still sharp. PJ LOVES treats and is fond of a soft bed. He'd prefer to share yours, but has learned to enjoy a comfy dog bed with a soft blanket. PJ has not been tested with cats or children. He is a good car rider and likes to go for walks with his person.
